A new book illustrating the artists paintings.

John Kramer’s new book

A 64 softcover book has been published by the Penny Dobbie Gallery and will be available at the opening of my exhibition at the UCT Irma Stern Museum on the 6th September 2014. It contains 30 full colour plates and a preface ‘Observations on the paintings of John Kramer’ by Hayden Proud. (Senior Curator of Historical Paintings and Sculpture, Iziko Museums of South Africa) The illustrations show paintings of small town shops, corner cafe’s and general dealer stores, many of which have disappeared from the South African scene.

Selling price R120. (add R15 for local postage)
